Shuttleworks stocks all 25 colors of the Woolrich Melton fabric line, a 21 ounce wool fabric (85% wool/15% nylon), ideal for winter coats, pea jackets and other outer wear.
Woolrich fabrics undergo special dyeing and quality control to ensure that they remain true in color for the life of the fabric. The Woolrich 21 ounce fabric comes 60 inches wide and is permanently moth proofed. It is a blend of wool and nylon (85%/15%) that has been carefully blended at the fiber stage and then spun and woven to produce a high quality and long wearing fabric.
A superior product for quality garments. This line of fabric is a favorite of re-enactors and film studios in Canada and the United States.
We also carry 37 colors of Woolrich 13 ounce fabric and several 12 ounce styles that include hounds tooth, herringbone (point twill) and plaids, all are 100% virgin wool. |
