Studio expansion postponed . . .

With a huge increase in new and existing product lines last fall (2007), we decided to put all classes on hold due to the need for more storage space - this problem still continues with even more new products arriving in 2008.

Preliminary planning for a 2008 expansion of the existing studio suggested it could be done this year. However, more detailed planning indicates otherwise. Current work in progress and the lack of available tradespeople makes the proposed expansion next to impossible at this time.

Thinking back to 2002, it took all summer (six months) working full-time on the project to renovate the original store - trying to build twice that much space from the ground up would require at least a year, which is not presently a workable solution.

Planning will continue and hopefully a solution to the space problem will prevail in the near future. We are looking at some ideas on how we can create space quickly to accommodate classes without disrupting the store operations. The idea of expanding the current studio had merit but was too involved. A separate building for a new studio seems to be the best option - the question is - can it be completed before October? We will see . . .

In the meantime we will continue to offer in-store help and demos in addition to repairs and servicing.
