The original portable, folding spinning wheel

Lendrum folding wheels are made from maple hardwood and are coated with a clear lacquer finish. Both the standard and complete models are in stock at Shuttleworks, including parts and accessories. As well, we stock the single treadle for those of you who prefer a single treadle wheel.

Standard double treadle wheel includes:

• single drive, Scotch tension

• regular flyer

• 4 bobbins

• orifice hook

• tensioned Kate

Complete wheel includes the above, plus:

• fast flyer

• plying head, plying bobbin and longer poly drive band

Available parts and accessories include:

• bobbins; lace, standard and plying

• flyers; standard and fast, plus very fast head, plying head and quill head

• tension knobs, threading hooks, sliding thread guides

• drive bands; regular and plying

• single treadle footman upgrade kit

• tensioned lazy kates

Lendrum Saxony - special order

In addition to stocking the Lendrum folding wheel we also sell the Lendrum Saxony spinning wheel. There is typically a 2 year (minimum) waiting period for a Saxony, our current orders with Lendrum will hopefully reduce the waiting period. Once our shipments of Saxony wheels start arriving the waiting period will be reduced significantly.

The Saxony comes in maple, walnut or cherry; single or double drive; with flyer left or right side. If you are interested in or would like to pre-order this fine Lendrum wheel, give us a call.
