We continually update and add to our product lines and also add new suppliers based on perceived need and customer requests. The following is a sample of what we carry in stock.
We carry: Weavette hand looms (6 sizes), lap looms, bead looms and 20" tapestry looms. We also carry a "Sit or Stand" floor stand for our bead and tapestry looms. As well we have three sizes of card weaving cards (tablet weaving) in stock. One other novel item that we carry is the "Lucet" made of cherry wood, a lyre shaped tool used to make braids (complete with instructions). More stocked items: Moshimer hooks (fine, medium, coarse and primitive), TOD dye spoons and Grey 3 (6 measure) and 4 (8 measure) dye spoon sets. Gripper strips: always in stock - three styles to accommodate burlap, monk's cloth and fine linen. Prices have never been better, call for details. Rigby: cloth stripping machines from Rigby include models B, C, D and H as well as spare cutterheads and cleaning fingers. Brittany: birch (wood) needles in all sizes including double point and straight - plus a full selection of birch crochet hooks. Fraser: Fraser and Bliss cloth cutters and a full range of spare cutter heads in stock. Braiding tools: we have various braiding tools including Braid-Aids and Cox clamps. MajaCraft: Kumihimo stands (Maru Dai) and weighted bobbins (Tama). Bobbins are available in three weights - 30, 70 and 100 grams. If you have a MajaCraft wheel you can increase its capabilities and your enjoyment by adding a high speed spinning head, baby bobbin set (2 bobbins and a narrow fine fiber flyer), E-System flyer (ceramic inserts), plying set (jumbo flyer and bobbin), high speed and low speed whorls, lace kits and more. Skacel - addi turbo: we carry a full range of double point, straight and circular needles from 1.5 mm to 15 mm. We also have Afghan hooks and a full range of accessories. Bamboo needles: if you prefer bamboo over metal then look no further, we also carry a full selection of Clover needles, hooks and accessories. We also have the full line of addi Natura bamboo needles (all sizes in stock). Tatting shuttles: Boye, Pelc and Aero metal and plastic (with or without hook) and bobbins. In stock from Brown Sheep: Lamb's Pride worsted and bulky in 70+ colors plus Wildfoote Luxury sock yarn in all colors in addition to our current lines from Brown Sheep including Burly Spun single ply yarn - 24 colors including three "Handpaint" originals. As well, we have all 30 colors of "Top of the Lamb" 100% wool, single ply sports - one pound cones - great for machine knitters, weavers and hand knitters alike. And for those of you who like Mohair, we also stock all the Handpaint originals (70% Mohair, 30% wool), both variegated and solid colors, some 22 colors in all. We also have NatureSpun in fingering, sport and worsted weight. Looking for a high-twist Navajo wool warp, look no further we have it in stock Dyes and chemicals: In addition to Jacquard acid and Procion MX dyes (40 colors) we also carry Aljo acid and Procion MX dyes (40 colors) as well as Ashford acid dyes and padding kits. We also sell Gaywool dyes from Louët. We have Aljo disperse (nylon/acetate) and direct cotton dyes available. In chemicals we have soda ash, Synthrapol, color remover, carageenan, Methocel, Calgon, urea, fabric softener, Ludigol F, Superclear 80-N thickener, potato dextrin, reactive dye scour, reactive dye fixative, hydrogen peroxide, sodium hydroxide, sodium hydrosulfite, bleach thickener, acid dye scour (silk wash), discharge paste, sodium alginate SH (cellulose), sodium alginate F (protein), resist (clear waterbased), resist (permanent color - waterbased). Our natural dyes include: Alkanet, Annato, Brazilwood, Cochineal, Cutch, Indigo, Kamala, Logwood, Madder and light dark Osage and more . . . |
